Now we’re sure we’re not the only ones who are more than a little bit excited about Christmas. All the talk at Perfect Day and at our little sister Flossy & Willow is about all things festive and that definitely includes weddings. Yep, we’re head over heels in love with the thought of seasonal celebrations. So today, we thought we’d treat ourselves with a look at some of our favourite stylish winter brides. Ladies, you nailed it…
First up, let’s take a look at one of our faves, Anna Campbell. Now you might be forgiven for thinking that Anna’s gowns might be a bit too ‘barely there’ for winter but HELLO? Do you see these images? How amazing does our bride in her faux fur coat look and how fantastic does the Anna Campbell signature beading look in the winter light? Anna Campbell rocks all year round.
Now we’ll move onto another designer that we love and that’s the uber romantic Naomi Neoh. There are plenty of designs in the latest collection (find out more here!) that couldn’t be more perfect for winter weddings if they tried. Check out the flowing skirts, the long lace sleeves and the fabulous accessories. That’s heaven for winter brides right there.
Jesus Peiro
If there’s a designer that answers the prayers of winter brides everywhere, it’s Jesus Peiro. These designs are elegant, stylish and the fabric is just that bit heavier so it’s great on colder days. Lots of Jesus Peiro wedding dresses come with higher necklines, pocketed skirts, sleeves and all those ‘First Lady’ styling cues that look amazing at winter events. Add a little bolero or faux fur wrap for extra warmth and add a touch of stylish sparkle to finish.
Alternative Looks for Winter Brides
Of course, there are loads of ways for winter brides to put a seasonal stamp on their wedding day ensemble. Boho brides should pull on the Christmas jumper inspired cardigan and go for wild bouquets and wintery floral crowns. Brides looking for a cooler contemporary look should work their favourite leather jacket into their outfit (which should include Charlie Brear, just saying). When you team leather with a lace gown, sleek hair, on point makeup and a bold bouquet, you’re the kind of bride we love. Lastly, if you’re more of a dreamy, fine art winter bride, you’ll make our hearts beat faster with an icy blue coloured gown. Sigh…
