Choosing The Vintage Wedding Dress Company for our Boutique was a super easy decision to make. Brides have been telling us all year about their stylish Vintage Inspired Weddings. Whilst we believe we have a fabulous selection of lace gowns already, we wanted to take Vintage to the next level and visit the Vintage Era. Each dress takes you through the decades, exploring the glamorous styles, cuts and truly fabulous fabrics.
This collection is for the TRUE Vintage Bride, forget ‘a bit of lace’ approach this is Vintage as you have never seen it before ……
Created by celebrity stylist Charlie Brear, The Vintage Wedding Dress Company initially specialised in sourcing original one-off pieces, painstakingly restored to create a truly unique wedding dress.
Charlie has now drawn on her years of experience as a stylist for the red carpet, music videos and countless editorial shoots and combined it with her career in fashion to offer a unique capsule collection of vintage-inspired wedding gowns. Using the silhouettes and styles of bygone eras, the Decades Collection really is something entirely different – these dresses are REALLY Vintage, if that makes sense!
What we love most about the dresses is their versatility, as ultimately the Decades Collection allows you to create your own dress. You can choose the shape of your dress and then customize it to your liking with quite literally the best dressing-up box you have ever seen!
The Decades Collection offers different fabric overlays for the dresses and you can choose your own straps, skirt, sash and so on, turning a basic style into an entirely personal dress. This gives the more creative bride a little more scope to create something different and genuinely curate a dress around her own style and personality.
All of the dresses are made in London with utterly gorgeous fabrics. Let’s share a little secret with you, we have a few favourites, take a look at the 1920’s Catroux beaded lace dress or the 1910’s Edwardian style tiered lace dress, just stunning hey!
All Vintage Brides do get in touch to make an appointment if you’d like to have a closer look at the Decades Collection.
