Fashionistas will not have failed to notice that the fash-pack are busily hopping between New York, London and Milan for respective fashion weeks on both sides of the Atlantic. With the marvel of modern technology, the images from the catwalks are available on live streams, giving us all an equal chance to pass judgement on the Autumn-Winter 2014 collections.

Here at Perfect Day Bridal we love any chance to see what’s happening in the world of bridal wear’s big sister – ready to wear fashion. We scoured the Instagram feeds and blog streams, so in case you missed it, here are our favourite picks from London Fashion Week.

Burberry
Christopher Bailey filled his catwalk with stylish sheepskins covered in hand-painted florals and abstract prints. There was also a parade of long scarves in decorative patterns which could have practically been an outfit by themselves.

We loved the prints in the autumn winter collection here, which worked so well with a muted palette of blues and pinks alongside neutral grey and nude. Soft and feminine with a hint of flapper in some of the dresses, this was a really pretty collection.

Topshop Unique
Layering and belts and a bit of a kickass attitude sashayed in front of a star-studded front row at Topshop. Vogue called it the soft side to the tomboy and we loved the mixture of pretty prom numbers with unkempt tailoring.

Mary Katrantzou
What’s not to love about a brocade leopard print trouser suit or twinkly embroidery on a mink sweatshirt? This exceptionally beautiful collection was all about floor grazing, long-sleeved loveliness with a nod to a true artisan way of creating clothing.

Of course, we couldn’t talk about LFW without mentioning the celeb status of the FROW! Whether it was the crush of photographers falling over themselves to picture Harry Styles at Burberry, or the love-fest between Anna Wintour and Bradley Cooper as they waited to watch his girlfriend Suki Waterhouse walk the floor, there were no shortages of famous faces patronising London Fashion Week. We felt like we were right there with them…albeit watching online in our pyjamas!
