Buying a Sample dress allows you to score a designer gown at a fraction of the cost, with most of them being at least 75% off! No 6-9 month wait for your dress to arrive, you will be able to take it immediately on the day. These are simply the showroom dresses, brides try on in-store, making them perfect for tight budgets or short engagement timelines.
A lot of these styles are rare due to being collections that may no longer be sold anywhere else, and can be made unique to you with the ability to add more like bespoke sleeves, new necklines or toppers etc. during fittings with your seamstress as your budget may be bigger due to the discounted initial price.

Things to consider with a Sample dress…
Fixed Sizing: Sample dresses are typically available in one size only (most of our dresses are a 10 with a few size 12). Our highly experienced seamstress SewStudio can usually alter a dress down by 1-2 sizes, but trying to alter a dress that is too small or too big can be challenging and conclude to more expenses making the overall cost higher.
Minor Wear and Tear: Gowns might have slight makeup marks, loose threads, or pin marks, due to them being handled on a daily basis, however the team team treat and spot clean as much as possible; but this has been factored into the lower price.
Gowns are sold as seen which means no refunds!
Dry cleaning and alteration prices are on top of the Sample Sale price and can vary depending on what extent the job is needed. It is always best to factor these in if on a tight budget.
No reservations, it could be gone if you wait- so if you love it, it is best to buy it there and then!
