FAQs

When should I start shopping for my wedding dress?

We recommend 9-12 months as the perfect time to be purchasing your wedding dress. Most dresses have a lead time of 6-9 months depending on the designer, and then you will need to allow time for fittings prior to your wedding date.  Some designers are able to offer rush orders allowing for a shorter lead time so please get in touch if this may apply.

Do I need to book an appointment?

Yes. We are appointment only which means a 1.5 hour appointment with a dedicated stylist and an exclusive look of our dress gallery to make your selection of dream dresses to try on.

Appointments can be booked online here, where you can choose a perfect date and time that works for you. If you are looking for an appointment within the next 48 hours, please give us a call.

‌How many people can I bring with me?

We kindly ask that you bring a maximum of three guests with you as it can be overwhelming to have too many opinions. Just a few of your closest family and friends who know you and your style.

Can I take photographs?

We do not allow photos to be taken as a photo of you in a sample dress will never be a true reflection of how you’ll look on your wedding day. We kindly ask you to refrain from taking photos throughout the appointment.

Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?

We suggest wearing skin tone, seamless underwear. We also request that you do not wear fake tan or heavy makeup.‌

What size are the sample dresses?

Our sample dresses range from size 8-16, with the majority being sizes 10-14.

We work hard to ensure that the Perfect Day Bride experience is relaxed and stress free, to ensure brides feel comfortable and most importantly have fun. With years of experience we have plenty of tricks of the trade to show you the correct fit once your dress is in your perfect size.

How much are your dresses?

Our carefully selected collections of made to order dresses range from £1800 – £3000.

How do I pay for my dress?

Once you have chosen your perfect dress, it is a 50% non refundable deposit to get the order placed. The balance of the dress is payable when the gown arrives into Perfect Day Bride and you are invited in to try it on for the very first time.

‌‌Do you offer a fittings service?

We have a wonderfully talented seamstress team who we recommend to use. Fittings start 8-10 weeks prior to your wedding, with the final fitting usually in week of your wedding when your dress is prepared ready for your big day.
